Meet Mr. G

George Coles, aka “Mr. G” has worked for some of the most well-known stations in Florida. He’s a seasoned veteran who has worked in Ft. Myers, Ft. Lauderdale/Miami, West Palm Beach, and has now landed in Ft Pierce, FL at WPSL 1590 “The Talk of the Treasure Coast”, after a long stint with Coast 101.3 and 104.7 The Flame
Coles was listening to a rock n’ roll station in Ft. Lauderdale when he heard an advertisement for Brown Institute. They were encouraging folks with an interest in broadcasting to sign up and become DJ’s. He thought “What the heck……I’ll give it a shot”…. and the rest as they say….is history.
G’s involvement in the community surpasses the usual radio station agendas. He is constantly out there with his finger on the pulse of the neighborhood and loves ‘pitching in’ for a good cause.
Coles’ voice can be heard nationally on TV and Radio commercials due to his successful voice over business called Voice On Demand.
An East Coast boy originally from Vineland New Jersey, Mr. G loves hearing live bands perform, as he is a bassist from back in the day. Mr. G also enjoys listening to artists like Michael Franks and Kenny Rankin. He has five children.
You can hear George Coles (or as his fans affectionately call him; “Mr. G”) Monday thru Friday 6a-9a with co-host Ray Thomas on WPSL 1590 The Talk of the Treasure Coast.
